Training Coordinator
The Training Coordinator will work within the framework of the Executive Office of Elder Affairs (EOEA) regulations, to ensure Care Managers are trained to be experts in their field- knowledgeable, professional and complaint.
This is a full-time, non-exempt (35 hour/week) position. We offer a hybrid remote schedule. Our office is located in Malden, MA with ample free parking!
Starting annual salary is $60,000 ($32.96/hour).

Top 5 Key Activities:
- Work in conjunction with the Director of Home Care, Director of Intake, Information and Referral and Team Managers to on board and train all staff
- Develop, implement, and monitor training curriculum and programs for all staff
- Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals, and consultation with management
- Analyze QA/QI reports and strategize with Director and Managers to improve performance of staff
- Shadow home visits and review daily logs for new staff within introductory period
Other Activities:
- Cross collaboration with all departments for best practices
- Maintain and update policies and procedures related to onboarding and training new staff
- Participate in collaborative team model and regular supervision meetings
Qualifications:
- A Bachelors' degree from an accredited school in social work, psychology, counseling, human development, nursing, sociology, criminal justice, public health, public policy, or gerontology plus at least three years of experience in counseling, casework or case management providing protective or crisis intervention services.
- 1-3 years of management/supervisory experience in a human service/community-based setting
- Demonstrates a willingness to take on new tasks with a general attitude that no task is too small, impossible, or cannot be improved
- Expertise in the following platforms: Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Pro, Zoom and other web-based applications
- Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels, including staff, family and external partners
- Ability to maintain confidentiality while working with sensitive information or in sensitive situations
- Highly resourceful team player, with the ability to work effectively independently or as a team
Physical Requirements of the Job:
- Ability to lift, push, pull and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- Ability to climb up and down stairs unassisted
- Ability to travel to the community to perform visits at clients' homes
- Work requires regular standing, stooping, and bending
