The Senior Project Manager will support executive team members through the management and implementation of high priority, strategic, and inter-departmental projects related to policy development, program implementation, and operations that support the mission and strategic plan of the organization.

Schedule: This is a full-time, exempt (35 hour/week) position. We offer a 4-day work week and hybrid work schedule (once training is complete.) No nights or weekends.

Job Activities

Job activities of the position are below. Additional duties may be assigned as required.

  1. Lead cross-departmental teams to facilitate collaborative problem solving and decision-making processes in order to successfully plan and execute initiatives
  2. Identify and implement strategies to accomplish goals with a focus on data, outcomes, and improvements
  3. Develop project plans, distill clear action items, assign task owners for initiatives, manage follow up on deliverables, and provide hands on support as needed
  4. Draft documents, presentations, memos, and reports to support implementation of projects, policies, and initiatives
  5. Manage and support the relationships executive team members have with both internal staff and external partners
  6. Plan and organize both internal and external meetings/events in collaboration with executive team members
  7. Work with the leadership team to foster a solution-driven, success-oriented, accountable environment within the company

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in appropriate field of study preferred or Bachelor's Degree with at least seven years of proven work experience in project management and policy development
  • Previous experience working within health care/human services organizations or government funded entities preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple high priority projects by providing excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills and maintaining a high regard for attention to detail
  • Expertise in the following platforms: Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Pro, Zoom and other web-based applications
  • Highly resourceful team player, with the ability to work effectively autonomously or as a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels, including staff, board members and external partners
  • A willingness to take on new tasks (initiatives or projects) with a positive attitude
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage shifting priorities, and strict timelines
  • Exceptional meeting, workshop, and conference facilitation skills, with proven knowledge of how to foster attendee participate and collaboration in small and large groups
  • Demonstrated experience and results in collaborating with an executive team to drive organizational change and growth

Physical Requirements of the Job:

  • Ability to lift, push, pull and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to climb up and down stairs unassisted
  • Ability to travel to the community for meetings and events
