This is a full-time, exempt (35 hour/week) position. We offer a hybrid remote schedule (1 day/week in the office) and the option of a flexible 4-day work week upon completion of your introductory period. Our office is located in Malden, MA with ample free parking!


Compensation: Starting annual salary is $57,500. Being multi-lingual is not a requirement for this role, but we recognize it as an asset and offer an additional 6% bilingual designation. Enjoy benefits that start as of day 1 of employment and our generous paid time off package.


The Provider Liaison Supervisor is responsible for supervising staff and assisting with contract related responsibilities and the quality and oversight of MVES' vendor network. Our vendors provide community-based supports to approximately 7,000 consumers each month.

What you'll be Responsible for:

Essential functions of the position are below. Additional duties may be assigned as required.

  • Supervise Administrative Support staff assisting with Pending Services Referrals and related processes.
  • Encourage ongoing training, professional development and accountability within the administrative department.
  • Train new administrative staff on job responsibilities.
  • Implement procedures related to Pending Service Referrals, Service Authorizations and other data entry as necessary.
  • Collaborate with Care managers as needed on complex Pending Services Referral needs.
  • Provide support with Pending Service Referral and related processes to MVES Service Providers and Client Services Department.
  • Collaborate with Contracts Manager, Client Services Training manager, and SCO Training Manager as necessary regarding procedural updates and training needs related to Pending Service Referrals and Service Authorizations.
  • Run reports in SAMS on Pending Service Referrals
  • Track Certificates of Insurance (COI's) forms from providers for required insurance coverage, request non-submitted forms and file accordingly.
  • Assist with follow-up and documentation of non-critical incident reports.
  • Assist Contracts Manager with contract administration activities, including administration of contract amendments and terminations. Maintain organized contract files and documentation regarding compliance directives from Elder Affairs and MassHealth.
  • Update Provider Book as necessary.
  • Administer the distribution of Extended Hour Care Plan referrals.
  • Assist Contracts Manager with administration of Client and Staff Satisfaction Survey Letters.
  • Assist Contracts Manager with post-audit billing reviews, as needed.
  • Assist with FEW Application follow-up with Providers.
  • Assist Contracts Manager with RFP process.
  • Assist Contracts Manager at the annual Provider Fair.
  • Meet regularly with Contacts Manger.
  • Conduct monthly supervision and team meetings with staff.
  • Participate in other meetings and trainings as necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 1-year relevant work preferred or 3 years relevant job experience in lieu of degree.
  • Strong computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook and ability to use the Internet to conduct information searches and use on-line tools
  • Proficiency using SAMS A&D database
  • Ability to work independently
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to take initiative and follow-through on assigned tasks
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team-oriented
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
