The Nutrition Operations Manager will manage Nutrition Program logistics to ensure consumer nutritional needs are met currently and in the future.

This is a full-time, exempt (35 hour/week) position. Our office is located in Malden, MA with ample free parking!

Top 5 Key Activities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Home Delivered Meals program.
• Improve operational management systems and processes utilizing technology and best practices to ensure effective driver coverage, timely delivery to consumers, and meal site compliance.
• Lead in supervising, mentoring, and training Nutrition Program Managers, and Nutrition Operations Assistant.
• Collaborate with program Director and community leaders to enhance, expand, and improve the Nutrition Program.
• Oversee caterers' delivery to assure MVES is equipped with correct meals for all consumers and community meal sites

Other Activities:

• Assure Managers are training and supporting the use of department technology with field staff in accordance with MVES policies and procedures
• Elicit feedback from staff meetings; to develop and deliver in-service training sessions as needed
• Monitor and track staff retention, turnover, and satisfaction
• Cross collaboration with all departments for best practices
• Coordinate and assist in the development and implementation of new initiatives and programs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred required with 3-5 year of related field experience
• Experience in working in/with Elder Services, Home Care program, Senior Care Options and/or disabilities preferred or a minimum of 2 years of experience in related field
• 2-5 years of management/supervisory experience
• Strong analytical, managerial, communication, and leadership skills
• Project management skills
• The ability to manage multiple high priority objectives/projects
• Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels, including staff, board members and external partners
• Highly resourceful team player, with the ability to work effectively independently or as a team
• Demonstrates a willingness to take on new tasks with a general attitude that no task is too small, impossible, or cannot be improved
• Expertise in the following platforms: Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Pro, Zoom and other web-based applications

Physical Requirements of the Job:

• Ability to lift, push, pull and carry objects weighing up to 25-50 pounds
• Ability to climb up and down stairs unassisted
• Ability to travel into the community - private transportation required
• Work requires regular standing, stooping, and bending
