Money Management Associate

No one's independence should be at risk because of a lack of financial assistance. As the Money Management Associate, you will be working with older adults and adults with disabilities to provide financial management.


Schedule: This is a full-time, non-exempt (35 hour/week) position. We offer a hybrid work schedule (remote 1 day/week) once training is complete. No nights or weekends.

Job Activities

Job activities of the position are below. Additional duties may be assigned as required.

  • Conduct intake and screenings by telephone, home visits, and or video to determine eligibility
  • Review consumer information and eligibility for Volunteer match options and suitability
  • Administer cash distribution and bill payer service
  • Document and maintain consumer records in accordance with state, federal and agency
    guidelines
  • Prepare and submit all required reports and statistics
  • Participate on applicable committees and workgroup inside and outside the agency
  • Collaborate and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings

Qualifications:

  • BA in social work or a related field or AA + 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Competency in working with a diverse population of consumers from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds
  • Private transportation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels, including staff, board members and external partners
  • Highly resourceful team player, with the ability to work effectively independently or as a team
  • Demonstrates a willingness to take on new tasks with a general attitude that no task is too small, impossible, or cannot be improved.
  • Expertise in the following platforms: Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Pro, Zoom and other web-based applications
  • Experience working in a 501c3 organization strongly preferred.
